Everyday in Florida, Kelly would wake up & do things on Patty's
"To Do" list. He busied himself: * Mowing lawns, including Jim's,
(Patty's neighbor) this time since he's been sick for 2 weeks with
pneumonia like symptons. Kelly said he's trying to reciprocate for
all the times Jim has mowed Patty's lawn! Showing our thanks!....
* weed eating, *chopping out tree roots, *changed windshield wipers
on Patty's car, *put a new bulb holder on Patty's family room lamp,
*built somewhat new plant holder for Patty's plants as other was
falling apart. *fixed the storage shed door so it was more accessible,
*fixed sprinkler head etc. *& mowed the grass again!
As for Patty, it's so good to see her feeling better after the pain she
went through this past year & great to see the miracle the three pain
shots take effect. Even to the point of booking another Cruise to
Copenhagen, Switzerland, Russia etc. The only trouble she had was
getting pick-pocketed for $600, lucklily she left credit cards & driver's
license & passport back at hotel. Let this be a word of caution to all
who may travel abroad. Those pick-pocketers are ever so sly!!
One sad note of the trip was that Paco was sick & Patty said he wouldn't
eat hardly anything and just stayed pretty much on the bottom of the cage.
She took him to the vet and got some medicine for him & had to feed it
to him with an eye dropper. But he still hasn't perked up & it had been
nearly two weeks. She truly feared she might wake up & find him dead.
She did coax him to eat a bit of my left over steak but he was still feeble
when we left. Sure hope he's feeling better by now. He's always been
such a chatter box & part of the fun while we're there. Poor Paco!! I
couldn't even coax a "Shauuuunnn" out of him.
I took some shots of the back yard. This one down by the bayou was my favorite!
I think it would make a great painting!!
