


Besides being used for gladitorial contests, it was used for public spectacles such as
re-renactments of famous battles, dramas based on mythology & the bottom part
could be flooded & they would have mock sea battles.

What I think is to cool is that our church is building the
Rome Temple not to far from here. That's pretty exciting
& historic after all these years!!
