Celebrating Julie's B-day at Olive Garden

Grandaughters & Bonnets

I got on a roll & made bonnets for all my grandaughters in July as a keepsake
from me & they can wear them every 24th of July as a reminder of their
ancestors who crossed the plains. I didn't want to give them out until
I had them all together for a picture, which was long in coming.
Hence the lateness of the season! But then I thought of the pioneers & they were still
crossing the plains at this time of year! So we're OK!!

Halloween Party!

The Saturday before Halloween we had a Ward Halloween Party in the Bundy's
backyard. The activies commitee went all out for it & kept asking if we'd like to
work in one of the booths. I kinda try to avoid being around all that
candy because I'm so tempted by it, & it's not good for me. But we ended up accepting to work in a

booth. So I decided we might as well do the whole bit, dress up & all!! So when I
saw a couple of vampire costumes on sale,I bought them!! I had vampires on my mind since
I'd just read all four of the new Meyers books that everyone is reading lately. It was
kinda'of a joke with me because it took me awhile to be convinced to read books about
vampires!!!!! I'm a historical fiction or history person! Biography's and such! But the
girls finally convinced me. So I read them! Soooooo I decided we'd dress up & be
Esme & Carlisle!!!! Ha! Ha!

So we ran the fishing pole booth! I was amazed at all the cute &
clever costumes! It's been awhile since I've gone to a Halloween Party & Boy did those kids like to fish!!!! I guess we'll really see what Esme & Carlisle looked like when the movie comes
out the end of this month & all my girls are anxiously waiting for! And interesting to see how
they portray the book in the movie!!! We even had glow in the dark vampire teeth, but those
only lasted a small while!! Spooks & goblins Oh-My!!!!!
